What is Going Up?

In Going Up, you play as the devil, and your objective is simple: jump up through increasingly difficult levels while avoiding enemies and challenges that could send you falling back to the bottom. The catch? You can only defeat enemies by landing on them from above. This adds a layer of strategy and precision as you carefully time your jumps to avoid damage and clear each stage.

Each jump gets you higher, but it won’t be an easy climb. You’ll face new challenges and obstacles as you progress, making this fast-paced platformer not only thrilling but also rewarding. To make things even more exciting, you can use the money you earn in the game to purchase upgrades in the shop, making your journey up a little bit easier with every purchase!

How to Play Going Up

• Start Jumping: The devil starts at the bottom of the screen, and your first task is to jump from platform to platform, trying to ascend as high as possible. Use the arrow keys or mouse to control your jumps and navigate through the levels.

• Avoid Enemies: As you make your way up, you'll encounter various enemies. The key to defeating them is jumping from above onto their heads! Be careful, though, as any contact from below will result in you losing progress or dying.

• Upgrade Your Devil: Every time you succeed in ascending higher, you’ll earn money that you can use to purchase upgrades in the in-game shop. These upgrades may include power-ups, faster movement, stronger jumps, or even new abilities that help you reach higher levels more effectively.

• Survive Tough Obstacles: New platforms and more challenging enemies will appear as you rise, requiring you to think on your feet and plan your next move. Some platforms might move, while others could be filled with obstacles, so timing and precision are crucial for success.
